The work was written at the end of the summer of 1932 in Huerta de San Vicente (San Vicente Farmhouse)<\/a> (Granada), in just twenty days… In early September, Lorca confesses in Madrid to Santiago Onta\u00f1\u00f3n that he comes with a new work and that he is going to read it at the home of Rafael Mart\u00ednez Nadal,<\/a> a reading he repeats on September 17 at the home of his friend Carlos Morla Lynch<\/a>.
