The book is dedicated to his former music teacher, Antonio Segura Mesa<\/a>. This provoked the anger of Mart\u00edn Dom\u00ednguez Berrueta for ever. Some members of El Rinconcillo<\/a> did not look very favorably on Dom\u00ednguez Berrueta. The most critical of him was Mora Guarnido<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Federico did not dedicate the book to Don Mart\u00edn, even changing the passage about San Bruno de Pereira who was greatly indebted to the professor. Dom\u00ednguez Berrueta felt betrayed. He only mentioned him and his companions at the end of the book, in a letter. But Don Mart\u00edn returned the book and never spoke to him again. Even their families, once friends, became estranged.
