La Vega&#8217;s influence, however, was deeper and more lasting and appeared more or less explicit in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/obra-literaria\/divan-del-tamarit\/\"><em>Divan del Tamarit<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Asquerosa-Valderrubio inspired one of his last plays, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/obra-literaria\/la-casa-de-bernarda-alba-drama-de-mujeres-en-los-pueblos-de-espana\/\"><em>The House of Bernarda Alba<\/em><\/a>, based largely on authentic events and characters, arousing some family confrontations, and some scenes from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/obra-literaria\/yerma\/\"><em>Yerma<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/obra-literaria\/bodas-de-sangre-tragedia-en-tres-actos-y-siete-cuadros\/\"><em>Blood Wedding<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The fountains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/lugar\/fuente-de-la-teja\/\">of La Teja<\/a> and La Carrura, about 500 meters from Valderrubio, were places of inspiration for his early poems.
