{"id":7861,"date":"2021-08-10T07:58:04","date_gmt":"2021-08-10T07:58:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/obra-literaria\/poem-of-the-deep-song\/"},"modified":"2021-10-18T11:30:29","modified_gmt":"2021-10-18T11:30:29","slug":"poem-of-the-deep-song","status":"publish","type":"obra_literaria","link":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/obra-literaria\/poem-of-the-deep-song\/","title":{"rendered":"Poem of the Deep Song"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Poem of the Deep Song (Poema del cante jondo)<\/em> consists of 55 poems, grouped into ten sections plus a prolog poem, <em>Little Ballad of the Three Rivers<\/em>, which is later than most of the texts in the book and delimits the book geographically and lyrically.<\/p>\n<p>They are poems inspired by Deep Song (flamenco singing), although he did not try to imitate the lyrics of the \u201ccante (singing)\u201d, but to <strong>create in the reader the sensation of being in the presence of the primitive sources from which the \u201ccante\u201d springs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first sections of the work are dedicated to the siguiriya, the sole\u00e1, the saeta and the petenera, each of the modalities of \u201ccante\u201d personified in the form of a woman. <strong>The themes of most of the poems are death, frustrated love, despair&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The next four sections are devoted to flamenco, to different characters or to elements of flamenco singing.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, two dialogues were added in 1925 that introduce the dramatic element into the poem.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7862,"template":"","genero_obra_literaria":[100],"class_list":["post-7861","obra_literaria","type-obra_literaria","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","genero_obra_literaria-poetry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obra_literaria\/7861"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/obra_literaria"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/obra_literaria"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/7862"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=7861"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"genero_obra_literaria","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/genero_obra_literaria?post=7861"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
