{"id":7950,"date":"2021-08-30T08:03:46","date_gmt":"2021-08-30T08:03:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/cita\/maestro-falla-finds-a-curious-instrument\/"},"modified":"2021-09-06T07:27:26","modified_gmt":"2021-09-06T07:27:26","slug":"maestro-falla-finds-a-curious-instrument","status":"publish","type":"cita","link":"https:\/\/www.universolorca.com\/en\/cita\/maestro-falla-finds-a-curious-instrument\/","title":{"rendered":"Maestro Falla finds a curious instrument"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Maestro Falla finds a curious instrument<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A few days ago, the illustrious Maestro Manuel de Falla was in Guadix, accompanied by several personalities from Granada.<br \/>\nThe purpose of his trip was to examine a very valuable musical instrument found in the basement of that cathedral.<br \/>\nMaestro Falla had been commissioned by a German company to send notes to compose an article on Spanish harpsichordists.<br \/>\nThe instrument found was a harpsichord, one of the first to be built.<br \/>\nIt was abandoned in a cellar.<br \/>\nAccording to the documents found in the archive, the instrument cost 200 ducats and, considering it to be of great value, it was agreed that it would remain in the custody of the dean.<br \/>\nIt has the following inscription: Franciscus P\u00e9rez Mirabel. Civitates hispalense.
